“All you send into the lives of others comes back into your own.” – Mary Kay Ash

The efforts of the Mary Kay independent sales force and Foundation supporters to raise money for The Foundation are truly impressive and inspiring. The ingenuity with which Mary Kay independent sales force members combine charitable work and business pays tribute to Mary Kay’s legacy of giving. Behind each fundraising event and contribution, there is a marvelous story. While we wish we could feature every one, we’ve chosen a few that reflect the creativity of the Mary Kay independent sales force and the diversity of their events. Click on the stories to see a sample of the ways in which the Mary Kay independent sales force and Foundation supporters are making a difference in the lives of women.

Good Call! Recycle your Mobil Phones For a Great Cause!
Did you know that recycling your used mobile phones and ink-jet cartridges can help the environment and help support the causes of the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation? The Foundation will receive $2 for every mobile phone mailed to Access Computer Products Inc. The amount donated for each ink-jet cartridge varies, depending on the brand and size. Since the introduction of this recycling initiative at Seminar 2006, the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation has received over $111,000 from Access Computer Products Inc.

To participate in this program, simply place your phones or cartridges – preferably two or more to a bag – in the free, postage-paid, preprinted pink bags, seal and mail. To request phone bags, send an e-mail to bags@accessrecycling.com or call toll free 1-888-490-7635. Stock up in advance for fundraisers, special events and unit meetings. Both English and Spanish versions are available.

Access Computer Products Inc., headquartered in Loveland, Colo., has been recycling products since 1987. The company has more than 12,500 active participants and has reimbursed more than $8 million to their recycling partners.
