Since 1997, the Mary Kay Ash Charitable
Foundation has supported top medical scientists nationwide who
are searching for a cure for the cancers that affect women, including
breast, cervical, uterine and ovarian. This year, the Foundation
awarded $1.3 million in research grants to a select group of research
scientists. Cancer research grant applications are available on
this Web site or from the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation from
November to mid-February each year.

Who Gets a Research Grant From the Foundation?
Grants are awarded each year to medical
schools recommended by the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation
Research Review Committee and then selected by the Board of Directors
at the Foundation. This committee is composed of prominent doctors
and Ph.D.s who volunteer their time to help the Foundation select
the best recipients from across the U.S.
